These days, there are so many trends out there relating to health – it’s often hard to know what advice to follow. From cookie diets to lemonade detoxes, sometimes it’s best to stick with tried and tested classics. Keep it simple and keep it consistent.

Here are four ways to keep you on top of your health game:

1. Exercise
Our bodies were made to move. Whether you’re walking or spinning, going to yoga or hitting up Crossfit, exercising daily will keep your body happy, and it will also help boost your mood and keep the creative juices flowing.

2. Drink plenty of water
We’ve all heard that 8 glasses of H20 a day is standard, but how many of you are actually reaching that goal? Staying hydrated will not only keep your skin looking beautiful but will help with issues such as headaches, slow digestion and kidney stones (to name a few).

3. Get some shut eye
Putting in some pillow time is rewarding on many levels, but mostly on our health. An average of eight hours of sleep will help your body repair, give you energy and help you focus.

4. Eat whole foods
Stay away from anything processed, and eat only fresh, whole foods. If there are items that you have a hard time pronouncing when reading ingredients, then you can take that as a sign that it shouldn’t be going in your body.
